All the great friends I made. I’m
still close to many of them and keep in touch.
I lived in Panhandle only 4 years, all of them my high school
years. They were some of the best of my
life.

Favorite PHS Memory
I moved to Panhandle in October of my sophomore year. I remember feeling really out of place that first week when we took an all-school picture for the inside cover of the Lair and I was practically the only one who was not wearing a band uniform, an athletic uniform, or a pep squad uniform. People at PHS were achievers. I remember good friends, good teachers, good times, great band, and football games. I teach in the Panhandle school system now and am proud to still be called a Panther. My 3 children also graduated from Panhandle schools.
